AutoOneAgents.com keeps getting better!!By Jim Schaffner, Marketing Manager Your agency will benefit from these exciting features on our newly enhanced site. Along with a new fresh look, you will have:
Better navigation: You now have the ability to perform multiple tasks on our site without losing information. For example, if you are working on a quote, you can now move from an incomplete quote to run a report, look up policy information or perform any other task on the site with no effect on the quote you have in progress. This new functionality eliminates the requirement that you either complete a quote or lose the information you've already entered, as was the case in the past. Better payment options: For down payments, you can now pay with an Insured's Credit Card or Checking Account in addition to your agency premium sweep account. We have added a link for making installment payments, along with the ability to sweep your producer account for installments with a four-day grace period, as you have with down payments. Note: Electronic installment payments are available on our Web site only through the day of cancellation. Payment for policies within our five-day reinstatement period still must be called in to our customer service unit, or an agency check must be mailed with a postmark date within the five-day period. VIN Decode: When entering a vehicle in a quote or application, our system will now automatically interpret the vehicle year, make and model as well as assign all factory-installed discounts for that particular vehicle. Any optional discounts will need to be manually entered, with proof provided. Prior insurance verification through current carrier: You will now have the ability to verify insureds' prior insurance, including prior policy limits and any lapses that may have occurred. If the current carrier service finds the information for the named insured, it will interpret the findings and apply the appropriate discount using the limits and length of coverage found. If information is found, no further proof will be needed to submit with the new business cover page. If the current carrier cannot confirm prior insurance information, you will need to provide documentation to validate the coverage and lapse for the named insured. A user guide can be found on the home page of our newly remodeled site. Suite of 14 Agency Reports: You can now run the following reports for your agency (*Reports require a date range):
Better security with ability to assign roles: You now have the ability, if you desire, to assign different user roles and rights to different users within your agency. Different user roles can offer limited or expanded access to information within the site depending on the assignment. Your TMM or our POS Help Desk can assist you with this functionality. A user guide for all new functions is available in the Message of the Day section at the new site. |
