FINA Compliance Is Standard
Since 1908, FINA has been charged with regulating international competition in aquatic sports including swimming, diving, water polo, open water and synchronized swimming. FINA’s equipment guidelines are among the most stringent in aquatic sports, and all equipment for international competition must meet several requirements to be FINA certified.
CTS: perfect score
CTS equipment meets FINA’s requirements and is used regularly at international swimming competitions. Since 1978, CTS has supplied the timing equipment for competitions around the world, including the recent European Junior Swimming Championships, the Chinese 2007 National Swim Championships and Olympic Qualifier, the 2007 FINA Swimming World Cup in Brazil, the FINA Diving World Series, the PanAm Games, the SEA Games and the FINA World Cup.
Many of the major swimming facilities across the United States are equipped with CTS equipment. Each year, the majority of U.S. national and collegiate championships are held at facilities such as The Ohio State University McCorkle Aquatics Center, The University of Minnesota Aquatic Center or Princeton University DeNunzio Pool, which have installed CTS timing and data equipment.
Major American universities, FINA endorsed facilities, professional swimmers and coaches and competition organizers all rely on CTS equipment for fast, accurate data.
