Time for a Tune-Up?

How can you ensure that your swim meets are trouble free? CTS recommends a service call every two to three years. Here's why: The most important key to having trouble-free meets is good connections in your timing system. Any connection — from the banana plug on the touch pad or push button to the connection at the timer — is a potential point of failure. During a check of your timing system, CTS will replace worn-out banana plugs, clean ports where the banana plug plugs in, replace corroded connections at the wall plate, and check and replace any wire connectors that are corroded. CTS will also check all major components for proper operation. The maintenance call is also a good time to train personnel on the use of the timer and the maintenance of the timing system.
