Fast, Fair and Flashy: CTS Relay Judging Platforms with Speedlights
It's an NCAA necessity that can also be a valuable training tool: Meet Colorado Time Systems' Relay Judging Platform with Speedlights (RJPL). This elegantly designed system features LED-lighting that flashes simultaneously with speedlights with the start tone and strobe light.
Fair, Accurate and Automatic
The RJPL automatically compares the incoming swimmer's finish time with the departure time of the next swimmer. CTS' RJPLs are the fairest and most accurate way to judge a relay race, and they're also an NCAA necessity. All Division I NCAA Championships must use electronic relay judging, and with accuracy to 1/100th of a second, CTS' RJPLs actually exceed NCAA standards — which is probably why only RJPLs from CTS have been used in the NCAA Division I men's and women's finals.
Sophisticated Technology
Both the top and the leading edge of the RJPL are sensitive to the swimmer's departure and can distinguish between the actual departure and simple weight shifts. CTS' RJPLs are also quick and simple to set up and easy to remove because they use a double strap with a through buckle.
And the 20 high-intensity, calibrated LED speedlights aren't just an attractive accessory. The lights also ensure a fair start time for hearing-impaired individuals who are unable to hear the starting horn. CTS RJPLs have also been used successfully in training to help swimmers improve their start reaction time.
With accuracy that exceeds NCAA standards, Colorado Time Systems' RJPLs are a smart choice for providing relay data fast and automatically. Contact your CTS sales consultant for information and to purchase. |
