The PDSP-1 is the world's first digital-sound projector that uses a single-source speaker panel to deliver discrete 5.1 channel surround sound audio with more than 500 watts of power.
The projector produces full surround sound by controlling separate beams of sound, which are then reflected from the walls and ceiling of the room to replace the left, right and rear speakers. The PDSP-1 is only five inches thick, connects directly to a DVD or CD player and costs about $40,000.
