Superior Advertisement Secures Award — And Helps Others

Creating effective advertisements that communicate powerful messages has landed a top media award for nVision. Industry-leading magazine Traffic World honored nVision with its 2008 Advertising Achievement Award based on the results of a reader survey conducted earlier this year.
The survey asked readers to comment on the impact of an advertisement that highlighted the superiority of nVision's customer-focused service approach. The ad features the banner, "All Freight Payment Companies are not the same." It ends with the message, "Let us show you a company that works for you."
Readex Research conducted the survey, which studies selected ads in an issue of Traffic World. Readex asked readers what message or feeling they got from each ad. Many responded positively to nVision's advertisement, with comments such as:
- clear message
- right to the point
- best ad for type of service
- very informative
One respondent said the overall impression was "that nVision really is different."
Naturally, a few comments were also constructively critical, providing pointers about how the firm's advertising strategy might be strengthened even further.
The survey also asked readers to rate each advertisement's attention-getting ability, believability, information value and persuasiveness on a scale of 1 to 5. nVision scored above average in all four categories for companies in the Third Party Logistics segment. The ad's highest score was for attention-getting.
The award citation says nVision's ad "achieved a superior score in comparison with all other ads in the category."
In addition to being a well-justified accolade for nVision Global, the award competition also helps other advertisers target their messages more effectively.
Says Readex: "This reader feedback is most valuable when used to gauge relative performance of one advertisement compared to another. By comparing their scores with results for other studied ads — both higher- and lower-scoring — advertisers can discover how to communicate their messages more effectively to the Traffic World audience."
nVision's success shows that the company is working to communicate effectively with potential customers, and the feedback helps the company to identify ways in which it can better meet the needs of customers.
