The vast ring extends service from San Francisco, the East Bay and Walnut Creek to the Silicon Valley cities of Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. The network ring will allow Time Warner Telecom to deliver industry-leading metro Ethernet services throughout these cities in the Bay Area. “This recent addition to our ring in the Bay Area creates the region’s most robust and flexible conduit for delivering data and voice communications services,” said Sonja Williams, sales director for Time Warner Telecom in San Francisco. “Our projects and services, along with this 480-mile fiber ring, offer converged communications solutions to the most technically advanced and entrepreneurial businesses in the country.” To learn more about the project, read the full press release (PDF, 33 kB). |
