VaST Welcomes Michael Paczan as CTO and Jason Niatas as VP of North American Sales
From the desk of Alain Labat, President and CEO, VaST Systems
Hello Voyager Readers,
As VaST continues to grow, I am delighted to announce two new members of the VaST executive team.
First, I'd like to welcome our new chief technology officer Michael Paczan. Michael comes to VaST from IBM, where he was most recently CTO for the Power.org initiative and chairman of the Power.org Technical Committee. Michael will work closely with technologists in industry and academia in utilizing VaST's technology and research to meet the challenges of escalating systems design complexity. Over the next quarter, Michael will be in the field meeting customers. I hope you'll soon get a chance to meet him and welcome him to the VaST team. In the meantime, you can watch his introductory interview on YouTube to get an overview of his take on the potential for truly integrating hardware and software design.
I'd also like to congratulate Jason Niatas on his promotion to Vice President of North American Sales. Jason joined VaST in 2006 as director of sales, and in his new position, he'll expand his responsibility to all of North America. Jason's work has been crucial to the development of our strongest corporate advocates and has created numerous solid relationships with customers and partners. Please join me in welcoming Jason to his new role.
